Lemonade is your "friend"?

I've not been at tip-top form lately. Granted, it's understandable that I'm still in "student" mode in terms of weird hours, bad metabolism, and stress levels, but seriously? I have horrible fatigue that's been getting steadily worse to the point where I needed another mental health day. I gave myself an entire weekend and nearly chomped off my arm in frustration for not being able to be my normal productive self.

Now, I'm eating--and I'm eating my veggies and getting my vitamins--and going to the gym several times a week. However, my appetite has been fading. No negative lymph node action or sore throat, and I'm not suffering any other bad side effects, so I think I can rule out mono, the good 'ole kissing disease. No hacking up a lung, so I can rule out bronchitis. My mood is good. My energy level is just kaput. I'm dizzy, slightly nauseous, and feverish off and on.

I don't think I have a tapeworm--which would make for an interesting story for the grandkiddies, I'm sure. I think my sleep schedule is just horribly wonky. Last night, I tried a sleeping pill and had a deep rest. But now I've been fuzzy all day. And I can't risk 1) sleeping through my alarm or 2) being fuzzy tomorrow when I go back to work.

Anyway, several people have suggested that I'm suffering an overload of bodily toxins. Two friends suggested that I try the Lemonade Master Cleanse. Sounds harsh. Sounds gross. (Excuse me, "butt pee"???) I just want to jump-start my energy level, is that too much to ask?

For a good read (or chuckle), check out two online journal entries detailing the lemonade journey: One. and Two.
