Snoopy Happy Dance!

I received notification that my contract letter for Spring 2009 is in my campus mailbox. :) I've been attached to teaching 4 sections for the spring, but it's nice to know that I'll be official (and officially receiving payment for my services).

In other news: I watched The Falllast night with Wilde. LOVE LOVE LOVED it! Absolutely beautiful. Watch it and you'll see my pick for the Best Supporting Actor. It's a monkey, but he's brilliant! Doesn't get much screen time, but I'm pretty amazed by him. Lee Pace and Justin Waddell are two of my favs because they blow my socks off. And the little chica, despite not knowing any English when she started filming, is AH-MAH-ZING! Whenever I come across a film that just begs for me to write a paper on it, I know that I need to add it to my collection.

The Fall concluded a weekend of film watching. The Happening...well, not much happened. Nice idea, poor poor POOR execution. The best thing about the film was John Leguizamo. Even the little cute child actor was baaad, despite the fact that M. Night Shamalongadingdong normally has better taste in child actors.

Speaking of Johnny Legs, we also watched The Babysitters. Something happened all right. This is why I don't interact well with fathers of kiddies I sit for.

And then we watched Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and gushed over Pushing Daises' Lee Pace.

He's like a new and improved Jim Caviezel.

Hope he stays away from Mel Gibson and Jesus films.

PS: WALL-E comes out TODAY!

*sigh* Happy dance again!
